About the course
According to the Mental Health Foundation, 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.

In our fast paced, demanding, and busy modern world, it has never been more important to look after the state of our health and wellbeing.
Learn how you can combat the negative side effects of stress through simple yoga practice on my 10-week yoga for stress course, aimed at and suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced yoga students.
Each week we will take a look at a new theme around how simple posture work (asana), breathwork, relaxation and meditation practices can be used and integrated into our daily lives to help combat the most common negative side effects of stress, from insomnia to anxiety and shoulder tension to digestive issues.

The course provides an opportunity for you to create or add to your self-care toolbox and empower yourself to use these tools, through increased knowledge and understanding of how they work to ease the physical, mental, and behavioural side effects of stress on the body.

The 10-week yoga for stress course will allow you to escape the stresses and strains of our modern lives, come back into the body and find a moment of calm, balance and relaxation.
Through the teaching of simple and accessible ‘yoga bites’ or capsules and weekly handouts, you will also be supported to apply your learning to your own daily life.
